The path to destruction

I believe the USA is on a path of self destruction.
Some might  just call me a Bible thumping right wing conservative bigot and ignore anything or any thought I might express. That would be sad and perhaps rejecting a divine warning.
I believe in the Sovereignty of God.( Psa. 115:2 - 3)( Dan. 4:35 )
I believe in the Holy Scriptures.(  2 Timothy 3:16 )
I believe in an unchanging God. ( He is the same yesterday, today and forever) ( Malachi 3: 6 ) (  Hebrews 13: 8 )
I believe in the Love of God. ( John 3:16 )
I believe that God is not a respecter of persons. ( 1 Peter 1:17 )
I believe in the sinfulness of all men. ( Romans 3:23 )
I believe in a Just God. ( Romans 3: 26 )
I believe God is merciful ( Romans 6:23 )
I believe sinful man can be saved. ( Eph. 2:8 -9 ) ( Romans 3:24 - 25 )

Saying all that, we as a country are in grave danger from a sovereign and Holy God because of what we have become in the last 50 to 60 years. There are attempts to remove God from all public life in our schools and in the public square. I am amazed when a tragedy happens and I hear someone say "where was God".
Do we as a nation only want a God of protection and not a God we are to worship?

Students of history will tell us that all the great kingdoms and empires have crumbled and fallen into defeat after their values and focus changed from where they started from. Perhaps this is due to corruption, greed or a lifestyle that begs for destruction.
I believe this Sovereign God can and has in time past raised up nations to punish other nations because of their deviant lifestyle. Didn't He even cause a flood to destroy an evil world yet He saved Noah and his family to form a new world.
From the beginning in the Garden of Eden, God gave man an environment to possess yet with rules to live by. As the rules were broken, their possession was reduced or even lost.
When Israel was given the promised land by God, they were told to destroy the nations, not to coexist with them. (Deuteronomy 7:1 - 4 ) Some might think God was mean or even harsh. Was God just pushing some nations off their land to give that land to someone else?  No!
Some study of the history of that area can shed light to what was really going on.
Why did Abram send his servant back to his homeland for a bride for Issac?  Why did Jacob go back also to get a bride? Do you remember the people in Sodom and Gomorrah? Well His destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah because of their sex sin did not bring them to repentance.
I believe God gave those people plenty of time to repent, over 400 years from the time He destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah until the invasion by Joshua.
God was not happy with the people in the land of Canaan.( Leviticus 18:25 )
They had defiled the land with their sins and would defile anyone sojourning with them.
How did they defile the land and make God upset and disgusted with them?
Sex sins, not just any sex sin but homosexually and bestiality. ( Leviticus 18:22 - 23 )
God said these sins defiled the land. ( Leviticus 18:25 )
According to the Bible the sin of homosexuality is an abomination (Leviticus 18:22) and is a detestable thing ( Leviticus 20:13 ) deserving death.
In America the sin of homosexuality in some circles is now looked at differently than100 years ago. When I say that homosexuality is a sin, that is becoming hate speech even though that is what God calls it. He calls it an abomination.
I believe the homosexual community, the media, and the lawmakers in our country by legalizing same sex marriage are making Christians share in their sin of homosexuality by forced employment, forced rentals, forced service and perhaps even church attendance.
You might say, "I just don't believe all that". My dear friend, it doesn't matter if you believe that or not, God has spoken. ( 1 Cor. 6:9 - 11 )
